Anglicare assists children, families and those experiencing social isolation through our many community services.
If you can’t afford food, you might be eligible for an emergency food parcel.
When life is at its hardest, Anglicare is here to help. Visit or contact an Anglicare Food and Financial Assistance office near you to see what support we may be able to offer.
If you’ve got utility bills that you can’t afford to pay, the first thing you need to do is let your supplier know that you will struggle to pay the bill. They may be able to offer an extension to your due date or an affordable payment plan.
However, if your utility supplier is unable to help you find a workable solution, Anglicare may be able to help.
If you’ve been putting off seeing a specialist because you just can’t afford the cost, then Anglicare may be able to speak with them on your behalf and negotiate a lower fee. Or if you’ve been delaying a procedure or starting a new medication until you can afford the extra expense, then we can help you apply for a low or no interest loan, so you don’t have to keep waiting.
